Right now what is really important to me is following my passion and trying to make things happen for myself artistically. I've been really trying to make art every day if I can, and just believe that I can do it, and live the life I want to live. And in addition to that, something that goes really hand in hand are all the people in my life, they're really important. They inspire me and keep me going. I know a ton of people that are doing awesome things and they make me want to do awesome things. I think it's really important to care for the people in your life that are there for you. They all just keep me going.

You shouldn't let being afraid prevent you from talking or engaging with the people around you.

My parents are really awesome. They still live in Boston, but they just came out to visit me for the first time. They have been so supportive of me. I am an only child, so they just think I'm great, I'm their only spawn. Sometimes it's overwhelming and it's like, "Get away! Too much love from you!" But really I'm so lucky to be doing what I'm doing, trying to make it as an artist and sometimes that means feeling a little lost at times not having a solid career, but they're completely understanding of that and supportive and they've never told me to be anything else. So they're awesome.

My advice to others would be don't get distracted by all the bulshit in the world, don't take yourself too seriously, and most importantly don't be afraid of people. Sure not everyone is good but not everyone is bad either. You shouldn't let being afraid prevent you from talking or engaging with the people around you. Try your best to see past the expectations of the world to do you. Be the best version of yourself that you can be, be compassionate to other people, and I don't know, there's just a lot of awesome people in the world and we should all collaborate more.
